Basic Information
There is no better place than Lake Eco Park for relishing the calm ripples of water of Gwangjuho Lake and the cool breezes blowing in from Mudeungsan Mountain. Past Wonhyosa Temple on Mudeungsan Mountain, Lake Eco Park is located next to Gwangjuho Lake right before reaching Soswaewon Garden.
Since its opening in March 2006, the park has been favored by citizens as one of the best natural ecological learning centers and places of relaxation.
The park includes an aquatic botanical garden, eco pond, wild flower theme park, wooden trail, observatory, and waterside observation deck, and inside the lake is a willow tree habitat and the wetland reserves.
