Mudeung Pottery Site at 870-1, Yangsan-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City was appointed as the local intangible cultural property No. 5. This is the place where sir Cho Gijeong (dead in December 2007) who made contributions to the realization of Goryeo celadon and the development of pottery culture raised his disciples and produced many artifacts. Currently his disciples promote his work and preserve his artifacts and tell the art spirit of Mr. Cho Gijeong to inhabitants and visitors through the pottery culture experience etc.
